Dario Carrasco, Jr.Artist/Creator
Dario has also contributed on several projects for Modern Pulp Comics, including online strips of Constable IV and Lucifer Fawkes, as well as the one-shot North Of Here, written by Ulf Imwiehe and slated to be published in 2007. He is also collaborating with Mike W. Barr on an upcoming brand new series of Sorcerer Of Fortune webcomics exclusively for Komikwerks. Aaron Thomas NelsonManaging Editor/Contributing Writer/Creator
He's working with Dario as co-creator and writer on the Zombie Joe (Doogan) comics and anthology, and is also taking an active role as managing editor of the uber-cool Dark Thresholds Anthologies, where his stories Flesh and Blood and Queen of Mycenae are slated to appear. Shelley FisherPromotions Consultant/Graphic Designer
She has been working with Dario and Panday Studio since 2001, designing printed materials to promote the studio's ongoing projects, and has also had a hand in the layout and design of printed comic books issued by Dario and Panday Studio. Shelley's online portfolio, as well as various thoughts, facts, photographs and other truly amazing things that she feels compelled to share, can be found on her website, Soy-Based Monkey. Robert Burke RichardsonContributing Writer/Creator
His work in comics includes adapting the feature film Isla Bella and creating Jane's West with Dario Carrasco Jr. for Stan Lee's Sunday Comics at Komikwerks. His work of prose The Case of the Martian Ambassador can be sampled at WOULD THAT IT WERE. Kieran MurphyContributing Writer/Creator
Kieran has written scripts for a large number of small press companies in Canada, the US and the UK since then, and met Dario when he suckered him into allowing him to script short stories for several Panday Studio anthologies. Working during the day, doing a course in Strategic Management at night, and spending his spare time writing, Kieran's life is pretty full at the moment. And that's just the way he likes it! Dario and Kieran are currently collaborating on a story they co-created entitled Troy Spaceman. Watch out for it. It's going to be big. Visit his profile site here! Ron FortierContributing Writer/Creator
Married with five children, and five grand kids, he devotes his time between his family and his new career as a pulp writer. In 2005, Wild Cat Books published his first two novels, Brother Grim and The Hounds Of Hell. He is currently working on reviving the 1930's pulp hero Captain Hazzard for both pulps and comics. He lives in Somersworth, NH. C. William RussetteContributing Writer/Creator
He has written a number of scripts, some have even been published such as The Case of The Malevolent Missing Person and This Way, Mr. Burrows for the Modern Pulp Comics website, Pureblood: Stark Nature and Lucifer Fawkes: Blood Flow (printed through) Rorschach Entertainment and Hard Chargin Heavy Lead which appeared in Genome Studios' Ellium: Hybrid Anthology. He has currently burrowed into the Infinity Uprising compound. Expect his corruption to manifest from within in early 2006. He now operates on Martian time as there simply aren't enough hours in the day. Hal HildenContributing Writer/Penciller/Creator
Hal even responded to a Digital Webbing ad in which an established penciller was seeking a writer to collaborate with. That was when Hal first met Dario Carrasco. He was honored when Dario asked if he would like to become a contributing writer for his Panday Studio. Hal instantly agreed and now looks forward to being a cog in the machine created by Dario the blacksmith, Dario Ang Panday. Hal and Dario are currently working together on a new series from Dario's original creation Ms M for year 2006. Jon HookContributing Writer/Creator
His first published work was Archeon; a self-published fantasy comic he co-created with his life-long friend, Ed Lavallee. "The story Ed and I told in Archeon was first conceived when we served in the Army together in Germany", Jon said. "We used to play Dungeons & Dragons, so we tweaked those adventures we imagined back then into an original world of our own making now, and thus was Archeon born." In 2004, Jon had a bi-weekly column at ComiXtreme.com called Patchwork; it was an in-depth look at anthology comics, (something of a passion for him). He has also conducted interviews and reviews that have been published online at DigitalWebbing.com. "If I had to choose one favorite genre, I'd have to say 'Horror'. I have a real love for the macabre; my favorite authors are H. P. Lovecraft and F. Paul Wilson." Scott McKillicanWriter/Consulting Editor
Scott first entered the comics field as a contributing professional in 1998 when he and an artist by the name of Mike Butcher self-published a comic titled The Talus Montage through their moniker Void Publications. The book was full toned black and white telling an epic tale of sci-fi/fantasy. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen financial and social pitfalls the company folded in late 1999. Since that time, Scott has been busy contributing songs to a few local musicians, a horror screenplay entitled Wakeup Call for JohnsonGoyan Productions and various other personal projects including poems, short stories, a novel and a number of scripts (both for comics and film). Scott met Dario at a convention in Vancouver a couple of years ago and was delighted when, recently, he asked him if I'd be interested in coming on board as a contributing editor for the Panday Studio web site and author for a piece, as yet untitled, in the Rapid Comix showcase. Todd SwainArtist/Inker
Todd bought his first comic in a little hometown drug store and has been hooked ever since (it was The Mighty Avengers #2 and he still has that little beauty). He tried breaking into comics as an inker a few different times, but found that mailing blind submissions was time consuming and disappointing. Then came electricity. Then came the internet; making it easier to do business and rekindling his interest in inking comics. Todd's work has appeared in The 10th Muse, Legend of Isis, Book of Lights (Alias & Bluewater Productions), The Mask of The Gargoyle for Digital Webbing Presents #24 & #25, Mr. Fright, Jane's West, Quickshot (Panday Studios), Angel M and Alphaman (Ronin Studios), RIP ( Randy Kintz & Repercussion Comics), Everyday Cosmic ( Jorge Vega/Grant Perkins Webcomic) TG SangalangArtist/Penciller/Inker
In 2004, His first contribution here in Panday Studio is a Mask of the Gargoyle pin-up for its FCBD 2003 comic. Now he has another one for its upcoming projects like Dark Thresholds Anthlogy.
Stevie SmithArtist/Inker
Though quite new to the craft, and "...constantly humbled by my peers", Stevie has thus far received commission from Arcana Studio on their upcoming issue #7 of 100 Girls, before also joining the talented ranks here at Panday Studio. Outside of comics and animation, Stevie is the author of Joe Public, a fictionalised biography, and he's also a freelance writer and editor for various online gaming magazines including GamersHell.com, Boomtown.net, GamersEurope.com, and Thumbbandits.com. More of his samples can be found at steviesinkwell.blogspot.com. Where does he find the time? Usually in the putrid water at the bottom of trash cans and deep within the compressed gunk hiding between the cushions of his sofa. Ed EargleFreelance Inker
Ed has inked a few items for other Digital Webbing folks and hopes that some of these see print some day. He’s also inking for a new company called Mortal World Entertainment on a series called Kord & Harley. Ed was thrilled to learn that Dario enjoyed some inks he did for him and was asked to contribute this bio for inclusion on his site. Scott RobinsonDigital Inker
2005 finds Scott`s first proud contributions to Panday
Studio by inking covers to Zombie Joe (Doogan), a character with which
he shares his Australian origins. He`s also currently involved in
the upcoming Undead Zone Anthologies, and anything else the
Panday artists care to pass his way. Michael NigroArtist/Penciller/Inker
Michael is currently pencilling a Zombie Joe story for Atomic Pop-Art: Just A Buck Comics and more Zombie Joe comics to come. He really enjoys drawing fantasy, sci-fi, humour and strong women. He also spends most of his time with his daughter and two dogs if not drawing. Michael has way too many hobbies between recreational sports and computer games. David Llorente CortezArtist/Penciller/Inker
He had inked for Black Clark and drew for the role playing game AD:DG. His work will be featured volumes of the anthology Dark Thresholds that will be coming out from Panday Studio in the near future. As much as he writes, he also pencils, inks and colours his own comics and other projects. V. ShaneIllustrator/Penciller/Inker/Colorist
The Savage Sword of Conan brought him into the comic book world at the age of 12, having drawn mostly dinosaurs and creatures up to that point, this was the new world, extreme human anatomy and action beyond anything he had imagined. His idols led the way; John Buscema, Mike Kaluta, Barry Windsor Smith, Frank Frazetta and many other SF/F creators. He was then thrust into the forever career shaping venue of fantasy art. Coming full circle, Shane has finally had the opportunity to bring his fantasy comic art technique to the world with his 2006 "How To" book Fantastic Realms! Draw Fantasy Characters, Creatures and Settings for North Light Impact Books. Shane has done work for; Legend of Isis, Shadowhawk, Sorcerers of Fortune, Jane's West, Nifty Comics, Paper Dragonz, Kenzer & Co. and WOTC, and a great deal of indie character concept work and design for up and coming new comic studios... Philipp NeundorfIllustrator/Painter
Apart from his fishy carrier he is drunk (the whiskey part, and you can learn all life long). Apart from that he is showing his skills as an artist at exhibitions in Berlin, Germany. But he is not lazy enough to not do work as a graphic designer and to layout cd-covers. Current training units in his comics carrier are Scorn, written by Kevin Moyers and coming to you through Septagon Studios by the end of the year and a project about war victims in Ex-Yugoslavia at the and of the last century, which has no publisher yet. Stacie PonderInker
Outside of Panday Studio, her inks can be seen in BloodRayne: Lycan Rex, BloodRayne: Dark Soul, and Zombie Highway and Klik-Boom features in Digital Webbing Presents. While maintaining that she's not TOO weird, Stacie also really likes horror movies. If you do too, you should really check out her cool horror blog at finalgirl.blogspot.com. Matty RyanGraphic Designer/Letterer/Inker/Penciller
Matty has designed books for Marvel Comics and other publishers, lettered stories for Oni, Image and Digital Webbing as well as lettered Dario's Troy Spaceman and Zombie Joe. To see more of his work, please visit his website at www.mattyryan.com. |

Aaron
Thomas Nelson is a freelance writer and editor living in El Dorado
Hills, California. If only he could escape. His poetry has appeared
in the TPP Anthology in the UK, and he recently delivered a
paper on Ultimate Spiderman at Comic-Con 2005 in San Diego.
Having
had her mid-life crisis a few years early, Shelley decided enough
was enough, and it was time to pursue a career path toward happiness,
rather than money ( although some kind of compromise between the two
would be a hopeful happy ending). Many long hours at school have resulted
in a now much-less-stressed Shelley, who is enjoying a blissful career
as a freelance graphic designer while spending her days working at
a print shop in Calgary, Alberta.
Robert
Burke Richardson is a freelance writer. His prose stories appear in
Would That It Were, All-Star Zeppelin Adventure Stories,
Kings of the Night II, Amazing Heroes, and many other
venues. He has published non-fiction and written for both the stage
and screen.
Kieran
is a freelance writer from Ireland who has been writing comics for
as long as he can remember. He even used to draw them, until he realised
he was rubbish. He thought he was pretty poor at writing too, but
early in 2003, someone told him he was actually quite good, and that
person has been regretting it ever since.
Ron
Fortier's been writing comics for almost 30 years and has worked on
such famous characters as Popeye, Rambo, Peter Pan,
The Terminator (with Alex Ross), The Hulk & The
Green Hornet.
C.
William Russette spends most of his days doing one of many jobs that
you don't want to do. When he isn't pushing his wife over the edge,
watching action flicks or blowing brain cells on video games, he writes,
he plots, he schemes.
Hal
Hilden dreamed of being a penciller. Unfortunately, a lack of commitment
as well as a lack of talent soon quashed his dream. Hal decided to
try to get into the 'biz' as a writer. A rejection letter from Barbara
Kesel at CrossGen, stating that he showed potential, was all
it took to give Hal the confidence he needed. Hal is nearing completion
of a 4-issue LS from Loud Comics entitled Man:Zero,
a 4-issue series called Dreamland 2047, and recently signing
a NDA to write a treatment for a cartoon property owned by a very
successful Canadian animation studio.
Jon
Hook is a freelance writer from Shawnee, Kansas, where the only thing
more oppressive than the summer humidity are the conservative Christians.
His published works include short stories in Digital Webbing Presents,
Western Tales Of Terror, Shooting Star Comics Anthology,
and the Hero Happy Hour Super Special 2004.
"I
have been reading and loving comics for as long as I can remember.
My Grandma bought me my first comic, an issue of 'Spiderman', when
I was knee high to a grasshopper and I've been a fan ever since (of
the art form that is. I stopped following 'Spiderman' a little ways
back)."
Mild
mannered GIS Analyst by day, half blind comic book inker and rock
star by night, Todd has managed to pack a lot of craziness in his
46 years on the planet. He's been married since 1987 to his college
sweetheart, has two children (11 & 15), a Golden Retriever and
two Guinea Pigs. He's also had the pleasure of having open heart surgery
and six by-passes last summer, but is good as new and feeling better
than he has in 20 years.
TG
is a freelance artists living in Los Angeles, California. As a young
artist, he keeps on developing his skills in comic as a penciller
and inker by doing comic commissions like pin ups and sequentials.
Stevie
Smith toiled as a professional animation artist for over a decade
before tackling the artistic sidestep into the world of comics. Having
worked as a character clean-up artist for such companies as Universal
Pictures, Warner Bros. and Dreamworks SKG, Stevie's graphic strength
and experience leant itself naturally to comic inking.
Ed
has been drawing and in love with the art form that is comic books
since the age of four or five years old. Seeing a friend in elementary
school (Reggie) draw a character from the Plastic Man cartoon
inspired him to draw more and to improve. All in the hopes that some
day he’d draw for Marvel Comics. Twenty plus years later,
Ed has rededicated himself to this idea - via inking. Only two of
Ed’s efforts have thus far seen print. The first was a zombie
pin-up in Fleshrot: Tales of the Dead. Recently, a drawing
penciled by Uko Smith and inked by Ed was printed as an alternate/limited
edition cover for Warmageddon Illustrated #1.
Scott
Robinson is an Inker hailing from Brisbane, Australia. His childhood
passion for Comic Art developed over time into the full blown obsession
it is today, spending the majority of his time inking pin-ups and
covers.
Michael
is an amateur freelance artist/penciller located in Colorado and hopes
to make a big break into the professional world someday.
David
is now a freelance illustrator living in Alicante, Spain. He's made
comics since he can remember and he's begun to self-publish a magazine
called Midgard, where he introduced the fantasy series Roots.
After that, David has been working for a long time in computer illustration,
vector graphics and animation at the University of Alicante, and combines
this with drawing and inking comics.
Having
so much free time on his hands growing up, Shane developed a plethora
of skills to keep him entertained into the whee hours of the morning.
Art & music are the staples of his exhistance only to be surpassed
by the joy of being home with his family; Wife, 8 yr old daughter
and the newest member "Pika" thier fireball kitten. Having
been married to Julia since 1992 she has been the inspiration and
driving force to keeping Shane a freelancer. At 41, he has spent 14
years in the RPG/CCG game industry doing interior and cover illustration,
all the while keeping tabs on the comic industry he so longed to get
into. 2000 was his entry point bringing his full traditional skills
into the digital arena; painting, penciling, inking and coloring,
in fact the art on his entire site was created through Corel Painter
9.
At
some point in his life Philipp S. Neundorf thought: "Hey I learned
to eat seafood and I learned to drink whiskey, I sure can learn to
draw comics as well!". Learning to eat seafood took him around
25 years, with 4 years doing comics you can still consider him a comic-baby.
In these few years he published several short stories online and printed
mostly collaborating with an author. When he does not (collaborate
with an author) things can go terribly wrong as one of his efforts,
DCLXVI,
Stacie
Ponder is an inker who's had the good fortune to collaborate with
Dario on several projects, including Sorcerer of Fortune, Mask
of the Gargoyle, and QuickShot.
Matty
is freelance graphic designer who fancies himself as an artist. Never
satisfied with the normal routine of a day job, he tends to take on
as much comic work as possible to satisfy a strange desire to work
for very little money. He does logo, website and book design, lettering,
pre-press and production work, and every so often you might see a
little bit of art from him.
